Pinell & Martinez, LLC meets the state licensing requirements to practice public accounting in the State of Louisiana and is approved by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor to perform audits of governmental entities within the State. The Firm performs services in accordance with standards published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The Firm is registered in a peer review program administered by the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) and received a rating of pass for our most recent peer review which is available on our website and published on the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's website.
All professional members of Pinell and Martinez, LLC receive an average of 40 hours of continuing professional education annually and all staff involved with audits performed in accordance with GAO Standards receive a minimum of 12 hours annually of continuing professional education related to government auditing and accounting. This is in compliance with the requirements of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In addition, Pinell and Martinez, LLC encourages team members to participate in professional organizations. The firm maintains memberships in the following professional organizations:
